Julie & Anthony's Cleveland Wedding
Julie & Anthony were married over the weekend in an absolutely stunning church (St. Pat's) in downtown Cleveland. Instead of heading straight for the photo session, we stopped at Forrest City Shuffleboard for beer, burgers, and yes - shuffleboard! The bridal party had a pretty unique means of transportation - a trolley - to take them from here to Edgewater beach, our next stop for the photo session. It was freezing cold, so we had the entire place to ourselves (except for about 50 horses that were roaming around so we had to get a photo with one of them). Luckily I keep a flannel blanket in my car (and had a fast-running assistant to go get it), which kept Julie warm in between photos.
The reception was at Cleveland City Hall Rotunda. The place is massive on the inside with so many opportunities for photos. Another nice thing about having a large space is that I was able to get up to the 2nd floor and shoot down to get a single photo of everyone at the wedding. Julie & Anthony's cake totally took the cake... a colorful and animated scene of the two of them karting through Tokyo!
