Ashley & Eric's taste is quite perfect. Nina and I have always wanted to get some farm land and live a more rural lifestyle (although we love Hudson too...). Rivercrest Farms is basically everything we've been dreaming of - off the beaten path, perfect mix of rustic and modern, amazing natural setting. Even the mismatched old place settings on wood tables add to the charm of this wonderful venue.

The wedding was naturally quite relaxed, with plenty of time for preparing before the ceremony. Ashley & Eric are both shoe designers, so we made sure to spend a little extra time getting some portraits of their kicks :-)

One of the coolest cakes I think I've ever seen - Ashley & Eric cut theirs open to let out an explosion of candy! And to show off a little sophistication, they built their cocktail list! 

Sunset sessions are a great way to get some romantic portraits in the evening. Usually much more dramatic light than afternoon photos! Ashley & Eric were able to take advantage of one of the best options for a sunset session - the top of a high hill with a perfect view of the sunset and huge bonus - FURRY COWS! It was so much fun for them (and their pup) to feed the gentle giant!
